 Application Process for Registration in New Brunswick 

New Applicants (transfer from regulated province/territory) Labour Mobility (CFTA)
Those wishing to transfer to NB from a regulated province/territory are required to provide the following:

-          Completed Application for Registration Form
-          Request of Certificate-to-Certificate Recognition under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA)
-          Evidence of minimum required hours of practice during the preceding five (5) years of practice
-          Payment of dues prescribed at that time.


New Applicants (transfer from unregulated province/territory) and/or other
Those wishing to transfer to NB from an unregulated province/territory are required to provide the following:

-          Completed Application for Registration Form
-          Evidence of minimum required hours of practice during the preceding five (5) years of practice
-          Evidence of citizenship
-          Evidence of education
-          Evidence of certification
-          Evidence of valid criminal record verification dated within the last three (3) month ; and
-          Payment of dues prescribed at that time


  Non-practice Registrants (seeking to change status to full practice) 


  Senior and/or Retired


  Temporary Emergency Registration

Applicants seeking registration during a ‘government declared’ state of emergency may be
granted a temporary emergency certificate of registration in order to practice as a Medical Radiation Technologist in New Brunswick for the period of time as specified in Section 3 (See enclosed policy in Relevant Forms).
