Notice of Vacancy – Call for Volunteers
Lay Representatives – 2 positions

Main function:
To act as trustees on behalf of the interest of public protection and to bring an independent perspective outside of the profession to enhance its governance.

Qualifications/Commitment:
Lay Representatives must not be a registrant of the NBAMRT

As part of the Executive Committee, the Lay Representative is expected to attend the Association’s Executive Committee Meetings which occur an estimated 3 to 4 times/year along with a few teleconferences. All costs associated with these meetings are at the expense of the Association.

Essential and Asset Qualifications:
To ensure applications are governed in the public interest, potential appointees are asked to disclose any obligation, commitment, relationship, or interest that could conflict or may be perceived to conflict with their duties to or interests of the agency, board, or commission to which they are seeking appointment. Please note that this does not automatically disqualify you from the application process.

Term of office:
Three (3) year term appointed by the Minister of Health.
